So, I was thinking about a couple of things and I decided I'm going to write a blog about this particular friend who has made a lot of impression on me and my life.
It was the first day of college and I looked around me to see a few girls trying to calm themselves down, some chatting and making friends right away, while others simply fidgeting with their cellphones. I did not even notice this girl. I hardly looked at any particular girl but spent the time talking to another friend by my side.
A couple of days passed by, and we got introduced to each other through a mutual classmate. I wouldn't say we clicked off instantly but we at least spoke a bit. And the first thing she asked me was when was my birthday. I replied hence my birthday falls on 9th of August, hence I'm a Leo. I must agree that I love being called a Leo, it makes me very happy and proud because I feel I'm a typical and have a lot of qualities that describe one. So anyway, I said taht and asked her when was her birthday. And she exclaimed! She said she's a Leo too and that her birthday falls on 2nd of August. I felt happy to have found a fellow Leo, although I wasn't very particular about it.
In the next couple of days and months, she'd won me over with her absolute love and compassion and her innocence. She would listen to me crib about things and tell me it would all be okay. She would call me whenever she's bored or when I wanna talk to her and we would spend the next couple of hours talking and gossiping and even discussing about our personal likes and dislikes (Note that most of the times, my phone would die and I would sit next to the charger for the next few hours!) How this silly little girl makes me feel. How she makes fun of me by putting up bad pictures of mine, while at the same time, compliments me for my beauty. How she tells me that my attempt at writing a feature report on IPL was so brilliant and that it almost made her believe that I was a pro at it (I used Google for reference :P ) All her words move me and make me feel wonderful. She makes me feel that no matter what happens, she's the daughter I can look up to. And I'm so very happy to have her, for she's indeed one of the most beautiful possessions I have acquired in college and I will not let it go too soon.
